screenの改良fork。Debian系の人だけあって、.debが用意されているが、なんとなくtarballからインストール。
最初、configure時に
configure: error: !!! no tgetent - no screen
というエラーが出たものの、http://osdir.com/ml/gnu.screen/2003-07/msg00011.htmlに従って、
sudo aptitude install libncurses5-dev
をしたあと、configure/makeでいけた。configureのオプションは--enable-localeと--prefixのみ。
sudo paco -D make install
して、.screenrcを.tscreenrcにコピー*1し、起動。普通に使えるようだ。
http://www.steve.org.uk/Software/tscreen/changes.htmlを読むと、設定ファイルの柔軟性が大幅に上がっているらしい。単純なバグ取りもしてるらしいので、これでいこう。
